LILI TAILORED TANK
Lili is a little singlet/come tank top that has some really lovely tailoring details and shape that give it its own architecture. Angled deep pleats at the back neck line and a slightly tapered hem line bring balance and interest to this garment.
The rare and beautiful fabric featured here is the real star in this top. Enshuku- salt shrinking technique has evolved over centuries in Japan. The application here results in a random seersucker effect that dances with a hand drawn and stamped design in teal and green. This cloth has the mark of multiple artisans, dyers, weavers and designers embedded into its history-and it was a privilege to bring it to life as a garment.
Cold hand wash separately. Lightly spin. Shake out, reshape and dry on clothes horse. Avoid ironing to maintain texture.
True to Australian sizing remembering the design is slightly tapered at the waist. So if you are particularly pear shape perhaps select one size up.
