GARMENT FEATURES

A semi tailored classic shift style dress with a modern edge. An interesting neckline with little gussets at the shoulder that create an eye catching detail and a lovely rounded fit over the collar bones. Tiny openings at the side seams have been included to thread a piping cord waist tie through to gather the front or the back for a little more shape. Alternatively omit the tie or leaving it hanging as a feature. The Akira 'one piece' Shift Dress includes 2 side pockets and finishes with a wide hem at just below the knee for average and petit height women.

Wanpīsu ワンピース

In Japan the term 'one piece' is loosely adapted to describe the garment which can be worn as a long top, tunic or dress. I love it and have included it in my own clothing story.
