As a micro business in which I, the owner - Leanne
Coates is mostly present or available I wholeheartedly acknowledge the First Nations people of this Country. They are extraordinary survivors of more than two hundred years of dispossession.

I honour and respect the traditions, stories and living cultures of the Taungurung Peoples of the Kulin Nation - the traditional owners and elders of the land on which I live and work.

As a practicing fibre and textile artist I have a particular regard and enthusiasm for their art and crafts and their natural
affinity with sustainability. I believe we owe a debt of gratitude for the shared opportunities we have been granted, to learn, observe, collaborate and share our creative yearnings.
