Description
Furoshiki are traditional Japanese wrapping square cloths. They can be used in many different ways - as an impromptu bag, for wrapping things (ex: lunch-boxes or bottles) for storage/transport, or as a reusable gift wrapping.
The funny animals seen on this Furoshiki Chojyugiga patterns actually come from ancient Japanese frescos as seen in Kyoto temple Kôzan-ji. There is an ongoing debate among specialists regarding whether those were the starting points of manga culture in Japan!
