The botanical design is taken from Mark Catesby's Natural History book. The first published account of the plants and animals of North America. It was also the first natural history book to include large-scale colour plates. The main image is part of Magnolia grandiflora (The Laurel Tree of Carolina) c. 1743, while the smaller images are a collage including a vintage botanical print of a Dahlia "Pamplins Bloomsbury" a coloured aquatint by D. Hayes c. 1840 and graphic designs.

The front is a digital print on organic cotton.

Reverse is unbleached calico with an envelope style opening with ties.
