Tokyo Jo has a lined and faced bodice with a tailored split neck. Front and back pleats fall from the yolk. A fabulous piece worn over pants or as a tunic/dress. A tiny embroidered Japanese motif is attached at the nape of the neck of each Tokyo Jo and each one may be different....oh, and of course 2 side pockets!
In Japan the term 'one piece' is loosely adapted to describe the garment which can be worn as a long top, tunic or dress. I love it and have included it in my own clothing story.
PS. This garment is one of my foundation designs and is available ongoing either off the rack or made to order.
Medium weight 100% linen. Black.
Cold hand wash, light spin and hang to dry inside. Warm-hot steam iron on reverse. Or enjoy the soft crushed texture of worn in linen.
Generous sizing. If you are a 10-12 range, order the 10.
